Thepa
Minimum Ability Requirements :
Thepa receive the following racial abilities :
|
Until recently, all thepa lived on a remote island about 400 miles east of the mainland. The name of their island is unpronouncable by all races except Dragons and thepa. The thepa live by a strict Code of honor. If a thepa fails to live up to the Code, it will be banished from society and the thepa's entire family will share his/her disgrace. No member of a disgraced family may be in the military, they may not open a business under the ownership of the family, and may not travel off the island. Almost all thepa are lawful good (some odd ones sprout up at times). A very flagarant violation of the code will call on a trial to determine his/her fate. Execution is usually the remedy, though other punishments can be given out. The thepa pledge their loyalty to the three dragons that live on the island. One is silver, one gold, the other bronze. All are lawful good and teach the Code to the thepa. The dragons, and the thepa, believe that living by the code will make life the most enjoyable and rewarding that it can be. A PC from the thepa island may be any alignment, but the PC should remember he/she will be hunted down and brought back to the home island for trial if any acts are committed that violate the Code. A PC may choose any class, as all are found on the island. Thepa can be a multiclass fighter/mage, fighter/thief, or mage/thief. Thepa may also be paladins. Many thepa have been travelling to the mainland, carrying the words of the Code to the people they find. Due to their naturally thick and tough skin, the thepa have no use for any leather, studded leather, or padded armor. If a thepa warrior or cleric wears any armor it will be scale mail, chain mail, or plate mail. Thepa are restricted to the use of spears and tridents, thus they receive a bonus to attack rolls when using this weapon. Thepa may also use short bows or light crossbows, since these weapons have a far superior range to a spear or trident. Thepa receive +1 to their charisma scores and -1 to their constitution. |
