Elves
High Elves : High elves are the most common type of elf in the land. They are the most adaptive, being able to get along with the other races that live around them. |
Gray Elves : Gray elves tend to be the most secluded, living deep in the elven forests. The gray elves are among the most intellegent tinkerers in the known world. Gray elves believe more in their sciences and what they can actually see or prove. They have little faith in gods and worship the Silver Dragons that live near their territory. |
Sylvan (Wood) Elves : Sylvan elves tend to believe less in sciences and technology and, believe more in the world and their faith in Tri`osta. They use the land to provide for their needs, and they have little use for strict governments or economy. |
Dark Elves :
The Dark elves all originated from the Great War. As Zel`nar's armies drove through the elven city of Giri`ni, he found easy victims in the women. He used them to claim some revenge on the people that had banished him as a youth. Several months after the War, the children of Zel`nar began to be born. Even the elves could not live with their sight, as the children of Zel`nar reminded them so much of the War. As the children grew older they displayed irratic behavior and were a menace to society. Seeing no other option, the dark elf children were all sent north to the mountains. Dozens of these children were moved and left to find what the land would provide for sustaining life. The dark elves have not been seen or heard from again, though there are rumors of caravans and scouts being lost near the mountain ranges in the north. Only time will tell the tale of these forgotten souls.
