-Drol-
The Drol are a form of creature on Xar'raj that are decendants of the original dragons and are the main form of transportation for the world. Their heads are similar to that of a dragon, except the hard beak-like tip on their noses, and their bodies are somewhat similar to a hunched over T-Rex. They have small arms that they can use to hold food, and thick, strong legs. The neck of a Drol is long, usually 5' at adulthood. Their backs are curved down between their hips and neck, making them easy to saddle and use for transportation.
The Drol possess incredible strength in their legs and back, capable of carrying two people and their equipment for an entire 16 hour day with little fatigue. Their beaks are sharp and they will attack if they feel threatened. A normal Drol attacks with a THAC0 of 18 and inflicts 2d4 hit points of damage. Drol are highly intellegent and can be trained for battle or other uses. A well-trained war Drol can attack with a THAC0 of 14, or even less, and it can inflict 4d3 damage. Some outstanding Drol do appear from time to time, usually owned by the higher ranking officials in armies or governments.
Drol can communicate with each other through sharp squeals and growls.
